Miss Lillian Barta, age 46, passed away at her home here at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24 following several days of serious illness.
Funeral services will be held from the residence at 8:30 a.m. and at the Catholic church at 9 a.m. today, Thursday, Rev. E.J. Polcak officiating. Interment will be at the Catholic cemetery.
Miss Barta was born in Bryan, Texas. She had been a resident of this city for the past 37 years and for several years was employed at the Famous Dry Goods firm.
Pallbearers will be Chas. Smajstrla, Adolph Muska, Ernest Barta, Robert Plsek, Julian Kosh and Robert Schebesta.
Surviving is three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Kesh of Hempstead, Mrs. J.B. Matcek, San Antonio, and Mrs. J.L. Schebesta of Ennis; six brothers, J.J. Barta of Bryan, L.M. and A.M. Barta of San Antonio, E.C., and B.W. of West and Ted of Caldwell.
