Funeral for Anna Clarice Wear Glenn, 93, of Moulton will be Thursday, November 19, 2009, at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Moulton with the Rev. Jerry Glenn officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Glenn, who died Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born January 10, 1916, in Lawrence County to Frank Stephenson Wear and Tennie Welch Tollison Wear. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wasson Glenn; and son, James Wasson Glenn.
She is survived by two sons, Howard Glenn and his wife, Bonnie, of Decatur and Steve Glenn of Moulton; one daughter, Frances Spillers and her husband, Jack, of Mount Hope; one brother, Kirk Wear of Moulton; one sister, Rebecca Wear of Moulton; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Glenn, Jason Spillers, Robin Wear, Tommy Glenn, Don Glenn and Thomas Glenn.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
