Perry Weston of rural Piper City died Tuesday night at Fairbury Hospital, Fairbury.
Mr. Weston farmed in the Piper City area until retiring in 1957. He moved into Piper City in 1963.
Before farming he was employed by the Sternberg Drainage Co. of Piper City.
He was a member of the Methodist Church and the church men's organization. He was a director of the Farmers Pioneer Mutual Insurance Co. and a former member of the board of directors of the Piper City Locker plant.
