Mildred E. Farrow Walters, 84, of Benton died Saturday Dec. 11, 2004. She was born on August 24, 1920 in Holly Grove.

Mrs. Walters was a homemaker and a member of New Summit Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Alba Farrow; husband, James W. Walters; daughter, Lena Martin; step-son, Frank Walter and wife Faye and one brother, William Farrow.

Survivors include two sons, Roy Walters of Nevada and Jack Walters and wife Doris of Malvern; three daughters, Alba Taylor and husband Van of Benton, Barbara Jones and husband J.M. of Atkins and Opal Turner and husband Jack of Nevada; three brothers, Charles Farrow of Greenbrier, Grover Farrow of Woensville and Paul Farrow of Benton; seventeen granddchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Lamar Taylor, Kevin Walters, Malcolm Jones, Jay Martin, Herbert Fowler and Edward Robinson.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. at Ashby's Funeral Home. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at New Summit Church of God with burial at New Summit Cemetery. The ministers will be Rev. John Best and Revb. J.R. Hughes.
