Following contributed by Martha's step daughter, Mary Evelyn Munsey-McMahan:
Martha was my Dad's first wife. She passed away before he met my mother. I remember when I was a child up until after I graduated from high school, we would drive from Greenback, TN, Loudon County each year to put flowers on Martha's grave. We would often make the flowers from crepe paper or Kleenex and make a wreath and cover with plastic to protect the flowers from rain. I never saw a picture of Martha, but we always remember Daddy speaking of her endearingly. She must have been a special lady.
