W. B.(Dub) Allen, Jr., was the son of the late W. B. and Mary Ella Pollock Allen. Mr. Allen was married to Mavelene Griffin Allen and after her death he married Dollie Taylor Harwood Allen, who survives. He was educated in the Grady County school system and Georgia Institute of Technology Department of Continuing Education from whom he received a certificate in Textile Mathmatics and Technology. He retired from Coats American Thread Mill after 43 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church and former member of BPOE # 1618.

Survivors include sons & daughters-in-law, Roger & Elisabeth, Bruce & Kathy, daughter, Wanda, sons & daughters-in-law, David & Diane, and Don & Robin; grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua, Sarah Kate, Alan, Patrick, Heather, and Amber; 7 great grandchildren; stepsons, Andy, Randy and Dana; 5 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
