Lucy Elwing-Debien, 84, of Fremont died on Sunday morning at Countryside Continuing Care Center, Fremont. She was born in Oak Harbor to Lawrence and Ida (Overmyer) Hillman. Lucy married Louis Debien and he preceded her in death August 1973. She married a second time to Daniel Elwing and he preceded her in death September 1979. She was a loving wife and homemaker.
Survivors include: Two daughters, Marsha (Lyle) Dyer of Las Vegas, and Louise (Wilbert) Henry of Fremont; two step-children, Dennis Elwing and Carol Firmark, both of Oak Harbor; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, both husbands and two brothers, Vernon and Vernell Hillman.
Burial: 11 a.m. Thursday at Oak Harbor Union Cemetery
