Funeral services were held at 3:30 Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Ellen Smith, 51, who died Saturday at her home after an illness of some seven weeks. She was born in Johnson county and had lived near Chandler for 12 years.
The services were conducted at the Rock Hill Baptist Church by the pastor, Rev. W.W. Williford.
Survivors include three sons, Frank Franks of Philadelphia, Herbert Franks of Route 2, Chandler and Adron Franks of Phoenix; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Highsmith of Dallas, Mrs. Lois Morman of Route 2, Chandler and Mrs. Marie White of Dallas. Five step-sons, four step-daughters, two brothers and three sisters also survive.
