He was the parent of five children: Albert Scott of Chatauqua County, NY; Minerva Scott (married Joseph Sergent); Caleb Scott (unmarried); Parker Scott (married Polina Pattengill and Charlotte Brown); William Scott (married Emeline Bates), Egbert Scott (married Decette Shove); Harriet Scott (married Henry Shove).
