Memorial services for Betty Jean Rowe, 79, will be held on Friday, May 30, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Conroe with the Reverend Bill Taylor officiating.
Betty was born to John Henry and Lillian Blount Clark on October 15, 1923 in Houston, Texas and passed away on May 27, 2003 in Conroe, Texas. She grew up in Dayton, Texas. She spent many years as a Sunday School teacher as well as working with the Methodist Youth Fellowship (BSF). She was an avid bridge player.
Betty was preceded in death by her precious son, Terry.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ralph; her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Chuck Walker; granddaughters, Stephanie McClain, Stacey Gorski and husband Buddy, Brandi Vincent and husband Chris; great-granddaughters, Courtney Rowe and Christina Vincent; great-grandsons, J. T. and Hunter Gorski; sister, and brother-in-law, Patsy and Boyd Arnold; niece, Linda Burney; nephews, David and Randel Arnold.
