Anita Louise Prosser Green, 55, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at her residence in Columbus, She graduated from Berry College in 1969 and obtained a Masters of Education from Troy State University in 1986. Anita taught high school English in Georgia and Alabama public school systems for 20 years and continued to teach English in the Adult Education Department of Columbus Technical College for 11 years before retiring in 2002 after being diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in October 2001.
