STOWE Mr. Douglas A. Stowe, Jr., age 68 -- a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Saturday, November 14, 2009 at his home. Mr. Stowe was a graduate of Vigor High School and Auburn University. He was retired from International Paper Company and was a longtime member of Spring Hill Avenue United Methodist Church. He is survived by his sister, Claudia Thompson (Larry) of Hollywood, AL; three nephews, Larry Thompson, Jr. (Kim), Jeff Thompson (Terri), David Thompson (Allison), one great niece; three great nephews other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2009 at Pine Crest Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with interment in Pine Crest Cemetery. An online guestbook may be viewed and signed at www.pinecrestfuneralhome.com.
