Gradudated from Kansas State Univsity and served as a Foreign Service Officer for 31 years serving in 14 positions including Barcelona, Spain, Montevideo Uruguay, Madras India, Jerusalem Palestine, Rosario and Buenos Aires Argentina, Haita, Palestine where he first established a consular post, Milan, Bari Italy, Panana, San Salividor El Salvador, Cali Columbia and Bordeaux Frane. Following his retirement he was an associate professor of foreign languages at Ferrum College in Franklin County VA
