She was baptized June 12, 1904 and confirmed March 24, 1918. She married August 25, 1928 Hebron, NE. to John Henry Holthus. b. 1907, d. 1953. they had 7 children. See husband's bio for more information.
She was preceded in death y husband, John. her parents, Henry and Anna (Bruggeman)Lampe, 4 brothers, Hubert, Albert, Arthur and Fritz. 2 sisters, Clara and Adela. one sister-in-law, Leona Lampe and one great grandchild.
Survived by her children and spouses, Nelva and Owen Beethe, Ellen and Glenn Beethe, Alvin and Angela Holthus, Deloris and Joe Chizek, Eileen and ruaaell Rich. Leroy Holthus and Janice and John Cawley. 31 grandchildren 6 step grandchildren;31 great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren. one sister, Viola Oetjen. sister-in-law, Hazel Lampe and Minnie Lampe.
Funeral services were held Oct. 6, 1993 at Martin Luther Church rural Johnson, NE. Interment was in the St. John's Lutheran (Stone)Church Cemetery. Casey-Witzenburg Funeeeeral Service was in charge of arrangement.
