Son of William Harlan Altemose and Gayla May Lamonda. Donald Lee was christened 21 Sep 1930 at Salem Church in Gilbert, Monroe Co., PA.

Donald married Lorraine Woodling Westcott(Albert Gardner Westcott and Effie Maud Woodling) 3 March 1957 at Reeders Methodist Church in Reeders, Monroe Co., PA by Rev. Leroy Bernard (Monroe Co. marriage license #17422). In 1957 Donald was living at Long Pond and engaged in farming.
Lorraine was living at Reeders and employed as a telephone operator.

Donald was a heavy equipment operator for J. J. Cicone, Bath, PA for 10 years, retiring in 1992. Prior to that he worked for Morissey Construction Co., Philadelphia, PA for 26 years. He was a member of Effort United Methodist Church and served in the Army in the Korean War. He was a member of the West End Ambulance Association and Local 542 of International Operating Engineers in Harrisburg. He was a member of Barger Lodge 325 of the Free & Accepted Masons of Stroudsburg and the Scottish Rites of Allentown. In 1993 Donald was living at Brodheadsville.

Donald died in Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, and was buried in the Methodist Church cemetery at Reeders. (Obit in "Pocono Record", Tuesday, 4 May 1993, p. 17)
