McGee, Serena Jane Mrs. aged 61, wife of J. B. McGee, died suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Meador, in this city at about 2 o'clock Tuesday morning. She had been afflicted for several years with dropsy, and for the past few days had been under the care of a physician, but it was a shock to the family when as they went to her in the night to administer to her, found her dead. Mrs. McGee was born in Bradley County but has lived for many years at DeGray until the past few years when she has been making
her home alternately with her children. She was a consistent member of the Baptist Church and the funeral at the DeGray church on yesterday was conducted by her old
pastor, Rev. J. H. Smart. Besides her husband, Mrs. McGee is survived by three children; Mrs. Alfred Terrell of Curtis; Mrs. Arthur Meador of this city and Dale McGee of
Malvern.
