Death Follows Short Illness
Lorie H. Miller, father of Dr. Frank H. Miller of Morristown, died at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday at his home in Rush county after a short illness.
At the time of death Mr. Miller was 76 years old. He was born in Walker township, Rush county, June 14, 1872, the son of John S. and Mahala (Orme) Miller. He was married to Letha Conn whose death occurred in 1910. Later he was married to Ethel B. Johnson. Mr. Miller was a member of the Homer C.U. Church.
Surviving are the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Carr of Homer, three sons, John F., of Rush county, Joseph G. at home and Dr. Frank H. Miller of Morristown; one brother, Elmer J. Miller of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Wyatt Memorial mortuary in Rushville with Rev. O. J. McMullen officiating. Burial will be made in the Hurst cemetery. Friends may call at the Mortuary beginning Thursday morning.
