Age 89, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Riverview Terrace Nursing Home. She was born July 22, 1920 in Deer lodge, TN, the daughter of Christopher and Drucilla (Hall) Ryan.

On October 3, 1938, she married James Fred Stone in Deerlodge and he preceded her in death January 28, 1979. Anita worked at the Bomber Restaurant for eighteen years. Survivors include: two daughters, Janet (Jerry) Stone of Ypsilanti and Rose (Jacques) Bourget of Wyandotte; two sons, James Estel Stone and Freddie Evert Stone, both of Ypsilanti; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, one son, three grandsons and several brothers and sisters. The graveside service will be 1:30 pm Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Highland Cemetery with Chaplin Linda Coffman officiating. Arrangements handled through Stark Funeral Service.
