Family Lore is that while on a trip from Arkansas to California with her son, daughter-in-law and grandson the family contracted influenza and passed away a few day apart in 1899

Tacy Moore also had a granddaughter with the party, my maternal great grandmother Ida Tacy Moore (Sauls), b. 1896 d. 1977, to Tacy's son Theophilus Moody Moore and Roseanna Camille Moore. Ida Tacy Moore was the sole survivor of the group, and adopted out to a local Oklahoma family. She married my great grandfather at age 17 and lived her whole life in Oklahoma City. She told me this herself.
