Hannah Vee Jarvis, 94, passed away June 22, 2007 in Tucson, AZ

Hannah was born June 12, 1913 in Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Loren L. and Flora Hermosa MacDonald Taylor. She married Alma Grant Jarvis on June 25, 1943. Their marriage was solemnized in the LDS Mesa Arizona Temple on November 4, 1947. She graduated from Juarez Stake Academy High School and went on to graduate from Gila Junior College in Thatcher, Arizona in 1936. She also attended Texas Western College in El Paso, Texas.

After her marriage she, along with her husband lived in Santa Barbara, Parral and Avalos, Chihuahua until they moved back to Colonia Dublan in 1955. Hannah taught school and was principal of the Dublan Elementary School. In 1966 Hannah and her husband moved to El Paso, Texas where they lived until 1996. Hannah served in the church and community in many capacities. She directed stage plays, taught in church organizations, served in the Relief Society and was member of the school board. She also had a great love for drama, music and sang in choirs. She generously shared of her time and talents in serving her family, friends and community throughout her life. She had a strong and abiding faith in God, and loved her children and family.

Hannah is survived by her son and daughter in law Michael G. and Pamela Jarvis, her daughter and son in law Bonnie E. and C. Douglas Johnson, and her son and daughter in law, Loren L. and Patricia L Jarvis. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Hannah is also survived by the following: Nelle T. Bowman, L. LaSelle Taylor, Flora Lupo, Elwood Taylor, Jerald Taylor and families. She is also survived by Ora Bluth, LaRee McRae, LuDean Cardon, Sylvia Heywood, LaRue Lunt, Gary Lunt, Berkley Lunt and their families.

She was preceded in death by her father, Loren L. Taylor, mother, Flora Hermosa Taylor, a sister Fay Taylor, her husband Alma G. Jarvis, a daughter, Sylvia L. Jarvis and two granddaughters, Tara Renee and Karla Johnson.

Burial will take place at the LDS Tucson Binghampton Cemetery following the service.
