Willis Carl King, a resident of Yermo for 55 years, entered into rest at his home Jan. 14, 2009. He was born to parents Gilbert and Alta King, March 27, 1939, in La Junta, Colorado.
He was a graduate of Barstow High School and worked for Santa Fe Railroad as a Machinist for 40 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia, of 48 years; sons, Paul King and his wife, Shell, of Omaha, Neb., and David King of Yermo; grandchildren, Justin and Michael of Omaha, Neb., and Jeffrey of Yermo, Trisha Dennis and companion, Joey Serrano; great-grandsons, Ameron Serrano of Yermo, and Tyler Serrano of Yermo.
