A very loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She resided in Baytown, TX. all her life.
Juanita was preceded in death by her mother, Francisca Avila; 1 grandchild; 1 daughter, Leticia Chavez; brother, Paul Salinas; sister, Rosa Ybarra.
She is survived by her husband Jose Guadalupe Arellano; son, Victor and wife Margarita Chavez of Baytown, TX., Reyes and wife Jennifer Chavez of Baytown, TX., Ricardo and wife Lisa Basquez of Houston TX.; Daughter, Christina Basquez, Katy Basquez of Houston. ; 21 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; father, Pablo Salinas; brother, Lupe Salinas; sisters Silvia Oliveros, Adriana Salinas also survived by other family members and a host of friends.
Pallbearers: Victor Chavez, Reyes Chavez, Ricardo Basquez, Paul Salinas Jr., Richard Salinas, Fernando Oliveros, Joey Oliveros and Mario Ramirez.
Honorary ball bearers: Lupe Salinas and Pablo Salinas.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with family from 5-pm – 9pm on Sunday, November 15, 2009 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at Guillen-Baytown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Baytown TX. on MondayNovember 16, 2009 at 11:00 am, with Deacon Fernando Gonzales officiating. Interment to follow at Cedar Crest Cemetery.
