Thomas Robert Lundy, 44, died at 6:20 p.m. Saturday at his home, R. R. 2, Ferguson School Road following a prolonged illness.
Mr. Lundy was the son of John and Mary Lundy and was born June 27, 1907 in Clinton, Ind., where he was later employed as a coal miner until he moved to Anderson in 1927.
In 1929 Mr. Lundy married Helen Althea Gustin in Anderson. At the time of his death he was employed as a maintenance man with Firestone Rubber Co., at Kokomo. He attended Joyce Chapel church of Alexandria.
Survivors besides the widow, Helen Althea, are six children, Norma Jean, Mary Ruth, Correna Althea, Barbara Leona, and two sons, Larry Leon, and Jerry John; one brother, John William Lundy of Sault St. Marie, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Stilley of Anderson and Mrs. Mary Ann Schultz of Toledo, O.
The body was removed to the Davis and Strickler funeral home and was later taken to the family home where friends may call.
Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Methodist Church instead of Joyce Chapel due to the cold weather. The Rev. Forest Crum will officiate. The Rev. Milo Bowman, Marion Wesleyan pastor will assist. Interment will be in Park View Cemetery.
