Lewis J. Roush Is To Be Buried Today
Death Occurs At Home In Jackson Township After Long Illness
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 1:30 at the Warren M. E. church for Lewis J. Roush, 83, who died Thursday at his home in Jackson township, after an illness of three months of hardening of the arteries.
His entire life was spent within a few miles of the place of his death. He was born in Grant county on June 30, 1854, a son of Michael and Susan Shaffer Roush. On March 17, 1885, he was married to Miss Alice Wilson, who died December 11, 1921. Since that time he had his home with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schweikhardt on the farm where he had lived so many years.
He is survived by three daughters and one son. They are Mrs. Neva Bloom, of Lawrenceville, Ill.; Mrs. Chloe Boxell, of Warren; Mrs. Lovie Schweikhardt, of Jackson township, and Roy Roush of Anderson.
A sister, Mrs. Caroline Bailey, lives at Joaquin, Wash. Five brothers and three sisters are deceased.
Burial will be in the Woodlawn cemetery, Warren.

Lewis J. Roush's Will Is Probated
Three Daughters And Son Are Named To Share Equally In Estate
The will of the late Lewis J. Roush, who died recently at his home in Jackson township, has been admitted to probate here.
Three daughters and a son are to share equally in the division of the net estate. They are Neva Bloom, Chloe Ann Boxell, and Lovie Esther Schwiekhardt, and Roy Roush.
Jacob Boxell and Frank Schweikhardt are named to serve as executors of the will.
