6/10/1922 (Saturday) EARLY RESIDENT IS DEAD.
Funeral For Mrs. L.L. Smith To Be Held Saturday Morning.
Mrs. L.L. Smith, 81 years old, died Friday at the home of her son, Lester A. Smith of 204 E. 9th street. Funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Marshall and Harper chapel, conducted by Rev. Forney Hutchinson, pastor of St. Luke's Methodist church. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Smith moved to Oklahoma eighteen years ago from Water Valley, Miss., and located at Byars, McClain county where she resided until the death of her husband, twelve years ago. Following the death of her husband, she moved to Oklahoma City to make her home with her son.
She was well known in church circles and was a member of St. Luke's church. [THE OKLAHOMAN]

Louisiana Lavinia Fly was previously married to William James Berry December 1, 1859 in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. They had one daughter Martha McCarther Berry Bartow. William James died in 1862.
