Victoria passed away at age 42 due to pneumonia acquired in the hospital after having gall bladder surgery. She left behind her husband Carl Emil Anderson and 13-year old son Alfred Oscar Anderson.

Newlyweds Victoria Pauline Anderson and Carl Emil Anderson, about 1915. Emil's given surname at birth in Sweden was Gustafsson, it is documented on Swedish emigration paperwork that he changed it to Anderson upon arrival in the USA.
