Jackie "Jack" Rhodes was born Jun 2, 1936, in Tulsa, to Wilson and Helen Gertrude (Flippo) Rhodes. He died Tuesday morning, January 14, 1997, in the Columbia Wagoner Hospital at the age of 60.

Mr. Rhodes was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. He worked as a welder in construction and was a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his father on February 25, 1990, and his mother on January 3, 1994.

He is survived by five children, Sherry Williamson, Jackie Robbins, Mike Stear, Jason Rhodes and David Stear; two grandchildren; Shelby Amen and Talon Williamson; a special friend, Ann Frederickson; five aunts and uncles, Cecil Flippo, Robert Flippo, Pauline Kauffman, Mary Seltzer and Loren Bosworth and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 17, 1997, in the Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lincoln York officiating. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home.
