William Armstrong of this city died Tuesday morning at 11:30 at the home of his son J. A.Armstrong, three and three quarters mile northwest of Argenta. His death was caused by heart trouble. The funeral will be held on Thursday morning at 11 oclock and interment will be in Friends creek cemetery. Rev. J. C. Willits, pastor of the First Methodist church will officiate. The funeral will be held from the Methodist church in Argenta.
Mr. Armstrong has been for some time making his home with his son J.A. Armstrong at Argenta. He leaves four children: Edward Armstrong of Champaign, Mr. H. C. Walker of Decatur, J. W. and J.A. Armstrong of Argenta. Besides these he leaves his wife Mrs. Emma Armstrong, 960 W. Wood street, Decatur and a number of stepchildren. The stepchildren are: Ralph, Gen?, Chenoweth, Edna Fesler and Mrs. Walter Simon
