Gladys was the younger of two daughters born to Sibyl Ganson (McClave) and Harry T. Skeels. She was a young girl when her parents moved to Wichita from Onarga, IL. In 1929 she married Arthur Clarence Bullock. Sadly he died in 1934. She then married Jack Allen and had many happy years with him.
