Services for Ellard Luther Adams, retired farmer, were held at 11:00 a. m., Monday in Rocky Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Martin and Rev. Turner officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery with Southern Funeral Home or Lexington in charge of arrangements. He was 81.
Mr. Adams died Saturday night In Kings Daughters’ Hospital in Yazoo City after a short illness.
He was born and reared in Yazoo County and lived there all his life. He was a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church.
He leaves four daughters, Mrs. W. F. Hill, Mrs. Catherine Stricklin, both of Yazoo City: Mrs. J. K. Stevens, also of Yazoo City and Mrs. Carol Eldridge of Biloxi: eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
