They were the twin daughters of Humberto Alvarez and his wife, Martina Ortiz.
The twins died at birth at a local hospital Wednesday.
The Rev. Robert Wilson officiated. Burial was at Bridgeport Mexican Cemetery.
Survivors include their parents; brothers, Salvador and Gustaro Alvarez, and sister, Magdalena Alvarez of Bridgeport; paternal grandparents, Magdalena Robles and Lucio Alvarez; and maternal grandparents, Margarila Delgadillo and Santo Ortiz.
