Charles W. Youngblood died at his home April 22. He had been a resident of Missouri for fifty six years, eleven months and twenty two days. He had been a general merchant in Sparta for twenty years, until two years ago when his health failed him, causing him to retire. He was a member of the Baptist Church from early boyhood and to this faith held true.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mollie (Garton) Youngblood, and a daughter, Mrs. Max Brown of Sparta, also daughters Mrs. Opal Ward of Springfield and Mrs. Leona Harmon of Mounds, Oklahoma. Two granddaughters, Miss Huba Youngblood of Sparta and Miss Jessie Nina Harmon of Mounds, Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held at the Sparta Baptist Church, Wednesday, April 23, 1930, with Bro. Wilson of Calvery church, Springfield, officiating. Internment was in Sparta I.O.O.F. cemetery under the direction of B.C. Klepper.

He was 56 years of age when he passed, he was married to Mollie Garton December 4, 1892, Green County, Missouri.

He was the son of T. B. and Olive Jane (Jackson) Youngblood.
