GEORGE WALKER (BUCK) CROFT, JR., age 64, of 220 8th Street, Vinton, died Thursday at a local hospital. He was a retired employee of Frank E. Brown Hides & Furs and an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Ocie C. Schilling, Vinton; two brothers, John H. Croft and Edmund C. Croft, both of Roanoke; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 3:00 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Marvin L. Cudd officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
