Judith A.Richey, 70, died July 11, 2008, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical
Center in Lebanon, N.H.
She was born on Nov. 21, 1937, in Elmira, N.Y., the daughter of George H Dense
and Dorothy Morse, and received her education in local schools.
She was married to William O. Richey in Acequia, Colorado in 1957, he predeceased
her in 1997. Mrs. Richey was a mother and homemaker and worked as a
housekeeper at several hotels, motels and nursing homes.
She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witneses in Rockingham.
Survivors include four sons, Lavern Heist, William Richey Jr., Gary Richey and
Danny Richey, and four daughters, Judy Adams, Kathleen Richey, Laurel DeMond
and Karen LachapeIle, all of Springfield; a sister, Jane Libby of Ascutney; 24
grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at the Davis Memorial Chapel in
Springfield. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, at the
funeral home With Matthew Reimann of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in
Rockingham officiating. Burial will be on Friday in Vermont Veterans Memorial
Cemetery in Randolph Center.
