Gold Butte Pioneer Is Called By Death
Joseph Gardipee Sr., father of Julian and Joseph Gardipee Jr., passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Knappen, at Gold Butte on Friday afternoon, January 28, after an illness of ten days with pneumonia. Mr. Gardipee was 74 years of age and had 1ived in and around Gold Butte for 25 years.
He was of a quiet, kind disposition, and his familiar face will be missed by his many friends in the vicinity of Gold Butte.
Funeral services were he1d Tuesday morning and interment was made in the Gold Butte cemetery.
