Manuel was a life long resident of Santa Clara County, California. His parents Manuel Francisco Rose Sr. and Maria Thomazia Silveira Rose were ranchers in the Milpitas-San Jose area. The oldest of three children, He had a sister Mamie, and a brother Anthony L. Rose. Manuel married Laura Irene Marks on August 24th 1941 at Saint Joseph's in Mission San Jose, California. They lived at the ranch on Babb Road untill 1960 when they moved to the home on 33rd Street in San Jose. Where Manuel spent his last years enjoying his church, family and friends.
