Dustin Carlos Allen "Dusty" Hudson, age 31, a lifelong Connersville resident went home to be with the Lord on Friday November 6, 2009.
He was born November 10, 1977 in Oxford, Ohio. He is a member of the Family Worship Center of Blooming Grove.
Dusty is a 1996 graduate of Connersville High School. He was a student at the Connersville Career Center where he studied machine operation and received several awards in that field.
He has worked as a machinist at Mac Machine and other area machine shops. He was currently taking classes at Ivy Tech studying social work.
Dusty was a lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting deer, turkey, and coon and enjoyed fishing. In his younger years he enjoyed playing baseball in the Babe Ruth League.
He is survived by his parents, Cecil R. Hudson and Connie S. Powell Hudson, both of Connersville; his daughter, Alexa Brooke Hudson, Connersville; his sister Misty D. Drew and husband Michael, Connersville; his grandmother Rosa Hudson Joyner, West Palm Beach, FL; his step grandmother, Rose Hudson, Brownsville; one niece and two nephews, Madison Hottman, Cody Hottman, and Jaden Drew, all of Connersville.
He is preceded in death by Grandparents, Carlos & Georgia Powell and Allen Hudson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Family Worship Center in Blooming Grove with Rev. Tom Marshall and Rev. Jimmy John Ison officiating. Burial will be in Laurel North Cemetery. Friends may call at the Urban-Winkler Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. and for one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
