MOULTON -- Funeral for Lucy Gailey Aldridge, 86, of Moulton was to be today at 2:30 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Shelton and Ray McWhorter officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Moulton Memory Gardens. The family received friends Sunday evening from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Aldridge died Sunday at Lawrence County Hospital of natural causes. She was bron Lucy Gailey on May 29, 1908 in Lawrence County. She was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was the widow of Charlie Aldridge.
She is survived by one son, C.J. Aldridge Jr. of Moulton; five daughters, Alma A. Blevins and Opal A. Garrison, both of Moulton, Mable A. Thompson of Elkmont, Sue A. Wiley of Speake, and Jennie A. Davis of Olive Branch, Miss.; one brother, Bartley Gailey of Moulton, one sister, Annie Sparks of Moulton; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Buster Blevins, Randy Garrison, Ronnie Thompson, Charlie Davis, Ethan Wiley, and Lesley Blevins.
