Funeral services for Mr. Royce E. Windham will be held 10 AM today at Forest United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tim Lott, Rev. Sarah Windham, & Rev. Larry Patrick officiating & burial in Homewood United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Windham died Saturday, November 6, 2009, at Hospice In His Hands in Madden, MS. Mr. Windham was a member of Forest United Methodist Church, Veteran of The Army Air Corps, & a member of American Legion in Forest. He was owner of Windham Tractor Company in Forest for over 40 years.
Mr Windham was survived by four daughters, Karen Long & husband, Bill Barnard of Ocean Springs, Karla Childs & husband, Michael of Manchester, TN, Kathy Young & husband, Al of Huntsville, AL, Konnie Norris & husband, Howard of Muscle Shoals, AL; one son, Royce Edwin Windham & wife, Rev. Sarah Windham of Forest; one brother, Moore Windham of Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren; & 11 great grandchildren; & a special friend, Ruth Lewis.
Mr. Windham was preceded in death by his wife, Ocita Hart Windham; two brothers, Earl Noblin & Lamar Windham; & one sister, Loucille Burns.
