William Leslie CREASON 82, of Buffalo, died Jan. 2, 2006, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, where he served faithfully as trustee and cemetery caretaker for 19 years; was retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation, was a farmer and an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Eddie and Bettie Milby Creason; his foster parents Clarence and Katie Graham Walker; six sisters, Kathleen Berry, Rosie Edwards, Josie McMullen, Sara Nelson, Lida Richardson and Versie Richardson; three brothers, Frank CREASON, Criss CREASON and Leonard Creason; and an infant grandson. He is survived by his wife Christine WALKER CREASON, two daughters, Brenda and her husband Laton of Buffalo and Regina Taylor and her husband Terry of Hodgenville; two sons, Alton and his wife Jeanine CREASON and Timmy and his wife Deanna CREASON all of Buffalo; nine grandchildren, Terry Litton, Sherry Kulinna, Shelly Strickland, Becky Sprowls, Richie CREASON, Sue Ann McCandless, Amber Chaudoin, Jessica CREASON, and Kristi Taylor; three step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Jan.5, 2006 at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Revs. Carlos Compton and Roger Pepper officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.

William's mother died when he was 8 days old. His father gave him to cousins, Clarence Leslie Walker and Katie (Graham) Walker, to raise.

He married Christine Walker April 10, 1946. She was the daughter of Homer Otis Walker and Lula Mae Stearman Walker. William and Christine had four children.
