COURTLAND- Mrs. Riley B. Moore Sr, 74, a former Courtland resident, died at Lafayette Hospital in Oxford, Miss, Friday morning.
Services will be today at 10:30 a.m. at Courtland Methodist Church. Burial will be in Courtland Cemetery, Guntharp directing.
Surviving are two sons, Riley B. Moore Jr. of Lantana, Fla; and James Moore of Oxford, Miss; five daughters, Mrs. Mike Floyd of Sardis, Miss; Mrs. R.E. Wallace of Florence; Mrs. Charles Houston of Decatur; Mrs. Amelia Green of Courtland; Mrs. James H. Melvin Jr. of Jackson, Miss; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Moore is a former resident of Courtland but had been living with her daughter in Sardis, Miss. for the past few years.
Active pallbearers will be James Gilchrist, W.C. Barnes, W.J. Lee, Wilburn Terry, Joe Hollenbeck Jr, W.D. Gilchrist, H.A. Pippen and James Blythe.
