She was born on June 17, 1930, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Luther Vernon and Minnie Catherine Griffith Ellis.
On Dec. 23, 1951, she married Earl E. 'Jack' Huffman, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Earl W. Huffman of Luray; three daughters, Brenda Moyer of Stanley, and Donna Gochenour and Patty Seal, both of Luray; a sister, Ruth Spitler of Luray; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Ellis.
Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray.
