WALKINSHAW RITES HELD LAST FRIDAY
Eight Children attend rites; also, other Blanchard News

BLANCHARD, Nov 10


The eight sons and daughters of William Walkinshaw were all at the funeral service Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Reformed Presbyterian Church, conducted by Dr. C T Carson of Clarinda.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Frank and William Christiansen, John Henry and Richard Harness, Gary Barritt and Jimmy Walkinshaw. Music, Mrs Don Hensleigh and Arthur Finlay and a solo by a granddaughter Anita Harness. Flowers were cared for by granddaughters, Mrs. Harold Hutt, Mrs Robert Lathrop, Mrs George Brownfield and Anita Harness. Two sisters, Mrs Will Henning of Hopkins and Mrs Thomas Copeland of Maryville, attended the service.

Other relatives from out of town were Mr and Mrs Dean Heady of Waco, Tex, S/Sgt and Mrs Levell Marks and son Terry of Omaha, Mr and Mrs Richard Harness and two girls of Topeka, Kan; Rev and Mrs Ray Harness and son of Peru Iowa; Mr and Mrs John Henry Harness and son of New Market; Mr and Mrs Robert Lathrop of Kansas City; Kenneth Walkinshaw of Sidney, Neb; Mr and Mrs Francis Walkinshaw of Omaha; Mr and Mrs George Brownfield and family of Sidney Iowa; Mr and Mrs William Christiansen and family of Nebraska City, Neb; Mr and Mrs Karl Bielman of Grant City, Mo.: Mr and Mrs Everett Miller and Mr and Mrs Roy McNaughton of Burlington Junction, Mo; Ellsworth McGee of Braddyville; Mr and Mrs Orie Duncan and daghter, Mrs Claude Thompson and husband of Bedfor; Mr and Mrs John Annan of Coin and Dave Armstrong of Maryville.
