Rev. Benjamin F. Wade, born 1830 in Dauphin Co. Pa. son of Hugh Wade, Sr and Catherine ?.He married Anna Straw 15 Oct. 1854 in Pa. After their first child, Clara Jane, was born, they moved to Fremont, Steuben Co. Ind, along with Anna's parents and family. Benjamin felt called to the Ministry and studied for it. His first appointment was in 1868. He served 15 different charges in Michigan and Ohio from 1868-1897 when he retired. He moved to Newton, Harvey Co. Ks. and all but one of his children moved there too. He died of a stroke 11 Feb. 1902, His children:
