Mary Christina Eli Bradley, 95, died peacefully May 15, 2002 in Friday Harbor, WA. She graced the world with her presence on Nov. 10th, 1906. Born to Anna Maria Christina and Jacob Eli in Lund, Idaho. They later moved to Salt Lake where she grew up. She married J.E. Bradley on Nov. 6, 1937, in Salt Lake City. She was blessed with two sons: L. Keith (Carma) of Salt Lake City; and Dee of San Antonio; and a daughter Michael Ann (Ralph) Brown of Friday Harbor, Washington.
Mary lived a beautiful and full life. She took great pleasure in keeping and maintaining her exquisite homes and gardens wherever she lived. Mary enjoyed anyone who was in her company and had an incredible knack of making everyone feel special and important. She was a ray or sunshine, and could brighten a room with just her presence.
Mary was exceptionally grateful for everything she had, from the tiniest of tokens, to life itself. She was a vigorous reader, gardener, and listener. Full of life and tenacity until her last days, she left this world like she lived it: with style and grace.
Survived by her three children, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grand-children, and eight great-great-grandchildren. As said by one great-granddaughter, "She was a funny, spunky, loving person. She isn't really gone, she's still in our hearts. We all love her and will miss her so much." Mary, for your love that warmed our hearts, for the words to show us the bright side of a cloudy day, for your wisdom to live everyday to it's fullest, thank you. You touched us all.
A graveside service is planned for Friday, May 24th at 2 p.m. at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E 4580 South.
