Wright wrote that the plot was paid for by Tola Riner (Riner, her maiden name, is misread as River) and in the other by Tola Calvin (her married name.) This child was born after the death or divorce of her first husband, and before her second marriage (i.e., out of wedlock) so she uses her maiden name.
There is no question that the mother of these two children is the same person.
