Services for Raymond Ray Scroggins, who died at his home, Monday morning, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Rev. Melvin Garrison will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood under direction of Hersman Funeral Home.
He was born May 7, 1919, in Arkansas, the son of Samuel Jack Scroggins and Mandy Evline (Hughes) Scroggins. He died, May 10, 1968, in Wagoner, Oklahoma. His parents preceded him in death. He had worked at Farmers Produce since 1949. He came to Wagoner 40 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Irene; three sons, Arlow, Eltee and Glenn; one daughter, Linda; two brothers, Buster of Wagoner; and Lee of Woodlawn, California; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Walling, Mrs. Lora Rankins, and Mrs. Dora Matthews, Tulsa.
Pallbearers will be Chester Phillips, Otto Steeley, Leslie Vinson, Ellis Neel, Leroy Champlain and Albert Jones.
