Mrs. Byrn died Saturday, July 1, 1978 at the Hilltop Nursing Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born in the Oak Ridge community and was a lifelong resident of Oak Ridge. She was born, reared, and married in the same home and lived all of her life within a mile of that home.
She was the widow of Clarence H. Byrn and leaves two daughter: Mrs. Emma Pennington and Mrs. Leona Strong both of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Owen and Mrs. Agnes Fisher both of Steele; three grandchildren: Mrs. Betty Webster of Newport, Ark., Mrs. Daisy McGee of Cape Girardeau and Paul Byrn Strong of Farmington, Mo.; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Number Eight Cemetery with Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville in charge of arrangements.
