George H. Burley, 76, of Carroll, formerly of Columbus, died Tuesday at Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Columbus. He was a retired coal miner.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Carol Burley, Carroll; daughters and son-in-laws, Barbara and Richard Dewey, Sue and Richard Quinn, all of Columbus, Georgia and Everett Mansfield of Arizona; and children's mother, Frances Morris of Columbus; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Gilbert Thress of Union Furnace; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, Canal Winchester; Rev. David Carver officiating; burial in Carroll Cemetery.
Friends may call 7-9 tonight at the funeral home.
