Patrick J. Reeves, 62, of Port Orchard died Oct. 17, 2000, at his home.
He was born Feb. 11, 1938, in Salina, Kan., to Virgil and Stella Reeves.
He married Louise Hess on Aug. 11, 1976, in Reno, Nev.
Mr. Reeves served in the Navy for three years.
He was a truck driver for Bekins Moving Company and a pipefitter for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, retiring in 1991.
Mr. Reeves enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Cheryel Matthews of Paducah, Ky., and Terena Hayett of Payette, Idaho; three brothers, Charlie of Oregon, Buck of Arizona and Dudley of California; four sisters, Betty and Polly, both of California, and Emma Lee and Geneva, both of Nevada; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard; and a sister, Evelyn.
Services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
